With over 25 years of experience in the energy sector, Fernando joins in leading the company’s growth and consolidation strategy, strengthening its position as a benchmark in the infrastructure and sustainable development industry.

Fernando Tovar has been a key figure in the transformation of various energy companies worldwide. He has held leadership roles in regions such as Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Central America, South America, and Mexico. His experience includes serving as CEO of companies in Mexico that develop and operate large-scale thermal, wind, and solar power generation plants, as well as gas transportation systems, natural gas distribution, and natural gas regasification services.
His focus on innovation and strategic vision has been fundamental to the consolidation of key energy projects for our country.

Fernando Tovar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Yale University, a Master’s in Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard, and a Ph.D. in Law from Harvard Law School, which supports his multidisciplinary approach to strategic decision-making.
